A Raft of Sea Lions

Todays gift was witnessing a "raft of sea lions" in front of the inn. There must have been hundreds of them. They were frolicking and huddling most of the day. They moved with the waves, floated, held each other up and seemed to be having a great day out there. I tried to get some shots of them through the scope. Nature is amazing!

Wow , what an amazing sight. The sea lions travel in pretty large numbers; great photo through the telescope as well, I didn't know you could do that.
Do you see sea lions fairly often from your inn?

My name is Marc, and aside for fascination with sea life, I also work with Bescover.

I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the post of the raft of sea lions. We have an exceptional view of the bird sanctuary island from our breakfast room and inn. It is an ever changing picture here!
